Stocks dropped last week. The Dow lost 0.3% while the Nasdaq lost 1.5%. Both indexes remain in the red for the year with the Dow down 12.3% and the Nasdaq 9.0%.

Plan Limits for 2008
On October 18, 2007, the IRS releaseed the Retirement Plan Limitations and Cost of Living adjustments (COLA) for the 2008 Tax Year. Separately, the Social Security Administration announced the maximum taxable wage base for 2008.
