Michael MoskalPresident
Michael is a graduate of the University of Akron (B.S.B.A. Finance) and is a Registered Financial Planner (RFP). He is also an Accredited Investment Fiduciary Auditor (AIFA). As Moskal Gross Orchosky’s director of Investment Research, Michael is responsible for the performance of client portfolios. He holds NASD General Securities License Series 7, NASD Securities Principal License Series 24, and NASD Ohio Securities License Series 63.
Michael formerly wrote a quarterly column for the national publication “Journal of Pension Benefits” as well as the “Employee Benefit Plan Review.” He authors a weekly investment newsletter for our clients as well as many other financial professionals. Michael and his wife, Jackie, have four children and reside in Concord, Ohio. Ronald GrossVice President Pension and Technical Compliance
Pension Technical & Compliance, CPA, Actuary… Ron is a graduate of Miami University (B.S. Accounting) and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). He was formerly employed in the tax division of a national accounting firm and as a tax specialist for a local CPA firm. Ron is a continuing education faculty member at Cleveland State University and conducts seminars for pension professionals and students, including the Ohio Society of CPAs Continuing Professional Education programs.
He is also an Enrolled Actuary (E.A.). Ron, his wife, Shelley, and their three children reside in Beachwood, Ohio. Paul OrchoskyVice President Employee Communication
Employee Communications… Paul is a graduate of the University of Akron (B.S. Statistics) and is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP), a Chartered Financial Consultant (chFC), and a Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU). He holds NASD General Securities License Series 7, NASD Securities Principal License Series 24, and NASD Ohio Securities License Series 63.
Also, Paul has completed several Certified Pension Consultant (CPC) examinations. Paul has a strong technical background and considerable expertise in the design, installation and administration of all types of qualified retirement plans. He regularly conducts educational meetings and workshops for employee groups, and he has spoken at numerous seminars on a variety of retirement planning issues. Paul and his wife, Rosie, have three children and reside in Fairlawn, Ohio. Affiliations: Member, Financial Planning Association (FPA).
Ted TriskaChief Operating Officer
Operations… Ted is a graduate of John Carroll University (B.A. English). Ted has a strong background in pension administration and compliance with over fifteen years of practical experience. Over that time, Ted has acquired in depth experience in all phases of plan administration establishing numerous efficiencies in the processes the firm employs to operate its clients’ plans.
Ted currently oversees all general office operations at MGO and leads our group in its pursuit of producing quality service for our clients. He holds the designation of Qualified Pension Administrator (QPA) with the American Society of Pension Actuaries (ASPA). Ted resides in Cleveland, Ohio. Jack MoskalJack D. Moskal Chairman, MAAA, Actuary… Jack is a graduate of Case Western Reserve University (Accounting – Finance) and has attended their graduate school of Business Administration. He has a strong background in pension actuarial science, mathematics, finance and accounting, and is an Enrolled Actuary (E.A.).
Jack lectures regularly throughout Northeast Ohio for pension professionals. Jack has also testified before the U.S. Senate Select Committee on Small Business in an effort to prevent the passage of anti-small business legislation by Congress. Jack and his wife, Mary Ann, have five children and fourteen grandchildren. Jack and Mary Ann reside in Bratenahl, Ohio. Affiliations: Member, American Society of Pension Actuaries (M.S.P.A); Member, Academy of Actuaries (M.A.A.A.); Case Reserve Athletic Club; Inducted into the Case Western Reserve Hall of Fame (1986); Membership Board-Cleveland Athletic Club.
Richard WeissLegal Advisor, Attorney, Actuary… Richard is a graduate of Kent State University (B.B.A. Marketing) and the Cleveland Marshall School of Law. He is both an attorney and Enrolled Actuary (E.A.), one of only a few individuals in the United States to hold such dual designations. Richard has worked in the retirement planning field since 1967.
He was president of E.M. Klein & Company from 1986 until the formation of Moskal Klein in 1990. He has spoken at numerous seminars on various retirement planning subjects, and has spoken before the Joint Committee of the IRS and U.S. Department of Labor on Pension issues.
